ABOUT
It is part of the photographer’s job to see more intensely than most people do. He must have and keep in him something of the receptiveness of the child who looks at the world for the first time or of the traveler who enters a strange country. Most photographers would feel a certain embarrassment in admitting publicly that they carried within them a sense of wonder, yet without it they would not produce the work they do, whatever their particular field. It is the gift of seeing the life around them clearly and vividly, as something that is exciting in its own right. It is an innate gift, varying in intensity with the individual’s temperament and environment. – Bill Brandt
MARC BOURREL
I embarked on my photography career in 2009, starting in the dynamic world of sports. Traveling the globe alongside professional surfers and bodyboarders, I honed my skills in capturing the perfect moment amidst the ever-changing conditions. This experience taught me the importance of timing, understanding light, and the ability to shoot at just the right moment with the necessary speed.
In 2011, a turning point arrived when some friends asked me to be their wedding photographer. I discovered a profound love for this new realm of photography. Since then, I have predominantly focused on weddings, while retaining my foundation in sports and event photography. I strive to blend my technical expertise with a sense of sensitivity and discretion, capturing moments with an artistic touch.
My work aims to be luminous, elegant, natural, and timeless. I place a strong emphasis on the vibrant colors and lighting atmospheres of each location, as well as the genuine emotions of my subjects. These elements come together to tell a compelling and authentic story.
English, Spanish, and French speaker, I am available to travel across France, Europe, Morocco, USA and abroad, depending on the project.
If you would like more details or are interested in discussing a potential project, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to capturing your special moments, wherever they may be.
